People with greater HRV are more stress tolerant

Research has shown that military cadets with higher levels of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) are associated with better performance on executive function tasks and are more stress tolerant. The research concluded that “these findings have important implications for the development of biomarkers related to performance in modern warfighters”.
